Interesting article @ livescience.com about a study Japanese researcher Masaki Yuki carried out comparing the ways that Japanese and Americans read faces. According to his research Japanese get their emotional clues from the eyes whilst Americans get them from the mouth of their counterpart. Which probably explains why Chooch used to get annoyed if I wore black wrap-around sunglasses.

I wonder how people from other cultures read faces. Do the British read twitching nasal hairs (all homage to Basil Brush)?
