A New Flag for Down Under
Found this website expounding a new flag for New Zealand/Aotearoa. Personally, having been out of the country since the end of last century and seeing and hearing a whole range of reactions to the flag we currently have I would certainly be in favour of a new design.
The Beijing Olympics in 2008 would be the perfect opportunity to unveil a new flag which shows us for more of what we are than what we were. Something distinguishable from the aussie flag would be great too. I would also like to see the name changed to Aotearoa.
