Back In the Big K
Back in Korla Monday morning 4am from our trip to Kuche, (or Kuqa, or Kucha depending on how you want to spell it). Kuche is about 5 hours from Korla by bus, and like Korla was originally one of the oasis stringed along the silk road.
Now it is a sleepy little town, cold and a bit dirty. There are a lot of historic sights there; will post about them and put up some photos tomorrow all going to plan. The highlight for us was playing at a little ski field – two rope tows up a little slope, and then some go karting. Good fun.
