Comments
Some of you, including us, have had problems posting comments on this site. We are sorry about this. The thing is that was get a lot of spam comments on this site - from people who are trying to make their sites more popular on search engines such as google. Having many links to a page makes it more popular and then they get a better page ranking which means more people visit their site.
So we have a blacklist of words that cannot be included in comments. If your comment is rejected, check the words you have used. Any words which have double meanings or are slightly dodgy should be changed - then your comment should pass the filter.
Now we don’t mind linking to other people’s sites from blizzardboy; in fact we are quite keen to do so as such connectivity and sharing is part of what the internet is about. If a site is interesting or informative, related to Japan and China, the Silk Road or travel, or just good fun then that is cool. Other sites and comments are treated on their merits.
On a brighter note we are currently installing some gallery software which we should have up and running over the next few days.
