Reuters has an amusing, if a little unsettling, story entitled Woman transports heroin-soaked panties running at the moment. It would appear to be a challenge to China’s crowned king of porn!
The story details the plight of a 42 year old woman from Wunan who has been accused of transporting 1.44 kg’s of smack by plane to Shanghai. From the article it is not apparent whether she was wearing any of the 15 pairs of underwear supposedly soaked in H when arrested. The Chinese police determined the amount of horse by contacting the underwear manufacturer and finding out the normal weight of the underwear. With heroin possession carrying the death penalty in China one would hope more accurate testing were employed.
The expat community in Chang Mai was unavailable for comment but were reported to be rolling around the floor in pools of dribble at the thought of this score.
