I think I’m Lost is a great community website offering heaps of resources for people on the JET programme.

As well as having a wiki (a wiki is a kind of scratch pad where people can add pages of information and edit what is already up there, the most famous wiki – wikipedia is here) ITIL also has a quite active forum. If you are going to Japan on the Jet Programme it is a good way to meet up with people going to the same prefecture as you. I had a bit of a read of the Akita section and some of the information would have been quite useful when I was on my way up there.

Finally here is a picture of my friend Ben and me snowboarding in Hokkaido. Being on the JET programme certainly allows you to see some amazing parts of Japan.
