actually that was the story of AGED mother- the story goes like this. the poor farmer with his old mother lives at the tale of the mountain- they were fine! but one day the cruel but coward emperor ordered to kill all aged people,and the poor farmer sent his mother to the top of the mountain coz that was the place where young people hid there old parents but seeing his mother on that situation is unbearable for him and he decided to take back his mother again and hid in their house. the farmer hid his mother wid the best he could, 1 day the biao or the emperor had 1 condition in order for him to abolish the rule and that condition was fulfilled by the farmer with the knowledge of his aged mother and after the emperor decided to abolish the rule.

i heard of japanese story ant it goes like, the old people that cannot work anymore were brought to mountains and left behind, and there is one kid in the story that is preparing for his parents old age..it was touching but i dont remember the whole story and the title. If you could please let me know the title so i can search for it and make my kids read that very beautiful, touching story.

wow it would be cool to read a couple of these stories whether in English or using the Japanese versions as language practice.
