The Slow Fail of the Times and other links
Well, here in Japan, Labour weekend is almost over. Had a pretty quiet weekend, studying for the CCNA exams. Also went to a little party at Ovo in Nakameguro, very English style party (they used records!), with a nice mix of tracks (thanks Elliot for the invite, Ben for some great tunes, and Aaron and Hachio for jumping around on the dance floor
). Ovo is a nice little club, with a good range of events, so if you are in the Nakameguro neighbourhood, it is well worth checking out.
A few interesting articles around the web: Seth Godin writes about
Watching the Times struggle (and what you can learn)
which is an interesting analysis of the problems faced by not just famous newspapers such as the New York Times, but also by newspapers and magazines all round the world. Well worth reading.
If I Started A Company Today
is a thoughtful post by Andrew Hyde (andrewhyde.net) who has a blog called Chronicles of a Startup Junkie. Quite interesting to read the two above posts together.
And if you want to spice up your websites error pages, this flickr set would be a great place to start:
HTTP errors
Hope you all had a great long weekend.
