Hangman Cheat

hangmanHangman Cheat is quite a clever website which can pretty accurately guess the word you are thinking of. Simply tell it how many letters the word has and start playing.

I tried the word “japan” first and it found it very quickly. When I tried “blizzardboy” it didn’t have so much luck – probably because blizzardboy isn’t a dictionary word.

If you like games such as babble I think you will enjoy this.

  1. It beat me quickly with “seventy” but then I beat it with “consubstantiation”. Although, to be fair, I wouldn’t pick the latter in a game of hangman with people.

I remember on our first day of high school our maths teacher didn’t have anything for us to do, and so had us play hangman. One young pup decided to put up ________________ ____ or deoxyribonucleic acid. Unfortunately half way through he realised he didn’t know how to spell it and ended up bursting in tears. Poor chap almost ruined the next five years of his life with one spelling mistake.

So yes, perhaps consubstantiation could be dangerous :)
